When I was handling auto claims for State Farm I had a fatality involving a wild turkey. Young man blowing down I-69 (Look it up!) and took a turkey in the windshield, on the passenger side. GF ate it. Literally.

...At the coroner's inquest, two experts tried 400 times to lock themselves into the 32in by 19in holdall without success, with one remarking that even Harry Houdini "would have struggled" to squeeze himself inside. But days after the inquest, footage emerged of a retired army sergeant climbing into the bag and locking it from the inside....

At what?

Jeez, how do two people do anything 400 times? I do not believe it!

Two meters? That's shorter range than you get from using a lighter and a can of professional car cleaner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2sC29_XR88

The ones I know of keep a "this is not serious" wall with examples of mistaken identification on it. The lesson here is that even if you recognize it as "not the real thing" you should treat it as such until you KNOW it's safe. One casual equals one oh {!#%@}.

True, that. Given the human propensity for going to public places and shooting/bombing/stabbing everyone available, it wouldn't surprise me if some nut hid a live grenade inside an apparent toy.

That's one point. Another was "what if somebody manufactured real ordnance that looked like this thing?" as a legit business. They would have to be unaware that the Air Soft toy existed, but somebody always doesn't get the memo.

They could make a movie, maybe a musical, about the crap they sell there and the occasional explosive "bargain" to be found.
