Same issue.

But, but, what difference does it make if we're ALL GONNA DIE from global warming...or climate change...or something.

Timing. But Paulie that issue is also the same. We are gonna die IF WE DON'T DO SOMETHING ABOUT OBVIOUS ISSUES.

Folks like yourself: are actually THE problem. Science Deniers. The science of math/statistic or of physics/chemistry. I know: you can't just have your own opinion when science/reality knocks, but finds no one home.

Really.

No one (except you) is saying that. We should, however, try not to create more problems in our efforts to fix something. Change is inevitable, but change made in the heat of emotion is properly referred to as a "knee-jerk" reaction. The Law of Unintended Consequences is a bitch.

You're saying it. The ardent gunners are using that dodge to deflect the argument. Trivial and trite, too bad you can't do better.

Paul

The second amendment was ratified in 1791.

Changing it today, after 226 years, would not really be a 'knee jerk' action. There has been plenty of time to consider its consequences. It is long past time to get sensible about it.

You're not familiar with "Constitution via NRA"?
