11 per week in the US, 90% involved a gun. Herez a study that goez into the stats.

A Google search for murder suicide gets a bunch uv resent newz storyz, every different event I looked at wuz in the US.
Money trubl - shoots family
Family, including the dog
2 men in a car at the airport
Couple at home
Son leavez manifesto 'Worst Nitemare in History'

Try looking for murder suiside in other countryz. I got Wikipedia articlez az the top rezults rather than bunchez uv newz reports.

How many don't get reported ?
How many attempts get swept back
in the closet or so to speak?
To be or not to be?
To believe or
Not to believe?
To be live or
Not to be live?
To exist or
Not to exist?
What was the question?

Americans are fascinated by death and gore/ Our media oblige us and feed our curiosity by providing detailed stories. That doesn't mean suicide doesn't occur in other countries. It just means other people aren't obsessed with something that is still considered a scandal here, but maybe not elsewhere.

Methods of suicide: international suicide patterns derived from the WHO mortality database
http://www.who.int/bulletin/volumes/86/9/07-043489/en/

Some patterns are well known, such as the high percentage of firearm suicides in the United States of America.1 In addition, the role of pesticide suicide in Asian countries became apparent in the 1990s.2,3 The emergence of a new method, charcoal-burning suicide, in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), China and urban Taiwan, China,4,5 has been a surprise, but serves as a warning that research and prevention efforts should be reinforced.

Why would you want to force a
person to live? Who r u~ the government
made manifest? They have taken ever
right to life and literally {€@£|<} it up.
Now there is no right to death either?
So basically they create people for their
economy without regard for the person.
I smell a revolt in the air. Or is that just
Venus with a pen is?
To be or not to be?
To believe or
Not to believe?
To be live or
Not to be live?
To exist or
Not to exist?
What was the question?

1. People don't like to lose loved ones.
2. After a successful intervention, most people no longer feel suicidal, at least for a time, during which they can find other ways to deal with the stressors.

Not all suicides are escape from stresses.
Some people feel they are just in the
wrong place.
Hmmph ~ loved ones.... Ya right....
If they loved them them they would
help them fit in far long before
suicide is ever thought of.

During my years working at a crisis centre, I talked to hundreds of suicidal people. You and Paul are referring to a very small percentage of them and pretending they are typical.

Do you know how many people LIE
to councillors & shrinks?
I did in high school when they
called me out of class to ask me if I
ever thought of suicide. I knew they
didn't really care cause the principle
lived across the street from us when I was
small. He knew what they did to me.
If he actually cared he would have done
something to help me back then.
They sent me to the town shrink to
have me druged ~ I went once ~ the
woman was a bitch. So I never went
back. In my 40s I tried again with
these people and got a spoiled fat
rich daddies girl who told me all
about her wonderful life. Then
Dr Carlyle proceeded with his list
of 22 flavours to test on me. I got through
5 or 6 different kinds then quite. Oh ya~
the intake woman sent me to the meth
clinic just down the back alley for pain
relief. LoL
I don't hold grudges for stupid people.

It's all about the experience. :-)
I'm glad I can help others with
the truth.

Pretty much all of them at first. As trust and rapport are built, the lies become less significant. They never disappear altogether, though. No one can build trust with all clients - there will always be some that you cannot reach. No kind of mental health therapy is a magic wand. There are, and will always be, some who cannot be helped. Some, because they cannot be reached, and some because they do not want help, they want someone to fix them, which no one can do.

Not all therapists are good, and even the best therapists will encounter people they cannot build trust and rapport with. Some people will not be helped, even though they are helpable.
