Sceptical thinking/science promoting documentaries

Postby Nielander » Mon Nov 14, 2016 2:28 pm

Can you recommend documentaries that would be good to watch by ordinary people to introduce the basics of sceptical thinking and/or working of science. Also atheism. I don't mean documentaries series or short one-episode flicks, rather full length films, with also some entertainment side to them.

I have an opportunity to organize movie-nights to the people of my home town and I'm really struggling to find good films.

Some examples that I HAVE shown:

Religulous (2008)
An Honest Liar
The Unbelievers
Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief
In the Shadow of the Moon (2006)
The Root of All Evil (2006)

There are no long format documentaries, that describe and example critical thinking that leap to my mind. Most documentaries appear to limit themselves to one topic. I did find some websites suggesting certain documentaries, but I haven't watched them myself and thus can't make an opinion.

Good luck.
