No, I don't think so. I think we already discussed how good directors can remake and twitch old "B-Grade" movies and end up with an excellent "A-Grade" film.

However, I have a gut feeling that, every now and then, someone invents a brand new theme or plot that is a great film and no one can copy it because it is so unique.

( I'm going to get destroyed now by other forum members with better memories than myself.....but )

Did anyone every try make a version or copy of......
