The f-word is okay in Canada, but only in French broadcasts.

Interestingly, Russian naughty words are regularly bleeped in audio, just like the way that American naughty words are.
Listening twice as much as you speak is a sign of wisdom.

The Russian Dash Cam channels have their choice of bleeping or getting an "18+" rating from what I've seen.

There's no censorship when you speak to Russians on the telephone.

"Do you have an anus of concrete" (In Russian :У вас есть анус бетона ) meaning you are calm and collected, in this dramatic moment.

Not as funny a false cognate as анус but when I was in Mexico once I had a concierge keep talking to me about all of this information that was available in the carpet in my room. (carpeta is Spanish for "folder")

I'm guessing, but don't pretend to know, that "Carpeta" in Spanish has the same etymology root as "card" in English or "карта" in Russian (Map)

Matt, that's a good guess. Carpeta is borrowed from the French carpette and a lot of Russian words (that aren't of Slavic roots) are borrowed from French as well (eg этаж from the French étage). Looking into it a little I've found that in this case карта was borrowed from the Polish karta, in turn borred from the German Karte, which it seems was at one time spelled charte as an adaptation of the Latin charta, which eventually developed into the French cart. It may be that cart is related to carpette but I'm not sure.
