Fairies & Bigfoot

PZ Myers wraps up these two non-stories.

Here are the best comments (so far):

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry, and that's extra scary to me. There's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Look out, he's fuzzy, let's get out of here.

That's not a fairy! That's an angel!! Most people don't realize that angels are pretty small. Bats often eat them by accident. I just made that up so it must be true!

Please, they are not "fairies". The politically correct term is "nature divas".

Does it look to anyone else that Bigfoot is actually trying to help out the guy with the weedy garden? Look closely; he's holding hedge clippers.

I can see the headline in the Weekly World News and CNN right now: "Bigfoot Trimmed My Topiary!"

As my screen name implies, I live in Kentucky. I think the second picture might be me.

I have written up my findings on the Garden Bigfoot on "The Examiner" and I think it is (pretty obviously) a bird. Probably a crow or blackbird, but I'm no birder.

And I see from Myers' posted comments that lots of folk agree with the winged hypothesis.

Birds of a feather?

I did a fair bit of evaluating of the crow at cz.com, but those who want to see a big hairy creature, will, no matter how logical the reasoning against it.
I probably don't believe you.
