I knew the name. Think I walked past a book kiosk with her paperbacks on display: dragons in space IIRC...so I passed them by. HATE "fantasy" of any genre BECAUSE all too often plots are resolved by illogical not set up magic/fake/religious clap trap. She has an excellent bio shown though.

Bio reminds me a bit of Tolkien though and how his novels are supposed to have a depth of competency because he was a language expert and spent a lot of time crafting the fictional language he used in his novels. My view: claptrap. Fictional languages just distract from a smooth story AND YOU LEARN NOTHING. Like dragons is space.

Im just whining from the outside. Ha, ha........I think I could have made a good editor....but...can't put the first words to paper. It sucks to be me.

My daughter thought ULG's treatment of sexuality serious enough to include in her (successful) Masters dissertation, so I'm a bit wary of writing her off as a claptrap fantasy writer. Sure, she used fantasy as a medium, bobbo, but she dealt with serious issues. Mainly, though, boy! could she write!

How about writing off a kiosk filled with paperback book covers of Dragons in Space?
