Tiny ET "footprints" on Mars?

Postby Upton_O_Goode » Tue Mar 06, 2018 12:40 pm

What has this "scientist" been smoking? Doesn't take much to send some technically trained people off the rails. He's way off base. Everybody should know by now that the original Martians were sand worms and didn't have feet.

"I once befriended two little girls from Estonia, who had narrowly escaped death from starvation in a famine. They lived in my family, and of course had plenty to eat. But they spent all their leisure visiting neighbouring farms and stealing potatoes, which they hoarded. Rockefeller, who in his infancy had experienced great poverty, spent his adult life in a similar manner."

I've tried really hard. But I can't see anything like footprints. Or worm tracks for that matter.

You guys are great! What institution gave this guy credentials to call himself a scientist?

Now that I know who he is, I went back and had another look. I still can't see any footprints.

As he's into geomicrobiology and wrote a book called The Microbes of Mars, perhaps the media has mistaken his meaning of the word "footprints". He might has simply been using it to mean "trace evidence"?

Oop, no, apparently not: http://www.techtimes.com/articles/22240 ... t-mars.htm

...the scientist claims that images of crystal-shaped features on Mars that NASA shared earlier this year provide evidence of fossilized alien footprints....

...star-shaped and swallowtail-shaped tiny, dark bumps on a Martian ridge....

https://www.outerplaces.com/science/ite ... s-cover-up

...the tiny marks left in the rock do match crystal patterns seen here on Earth—gypsum crystals can form swallowtail patterns, "lark's foot" patterns, and even stars....

Seems like, if anything, he was using "trace evidence" to mean "footprints". :heh:

Footprints. In solid rock. So...aliens held their equivalent of a Weight Watchers meeting on Mars?

"Hi, I'm Xqwwvtzl, and I'm obese. It all started when I visited Earth and stumbled upon fast food dollar menus. But I've been working really hard, and I notice that my footprints in that rock over there are 31 hlptmtrs shallower than they were 6 frngstrs ago! I'm actually making progress! Praise Vmprgrth!"

They'd also have to mass in the neutronium range.
