Luminiferous Aether would be a great metal band name.
What are the facts? Again and again and again-what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore divine revelation, forget what “the stars foretell,” avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable “verdict of history”--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your single clue. Get the facts!

I though everyone already knew this about VKTW. He doesn't understand half the comments going on around him. :D

If that's the case, it's surely a challenging disability and nothing to joke about. I have a difficult time seeing that in VKTW, tho. Has he mentioned being afflicted?

No. However there is quite a lot of evidence that he doesn't "pick up" on human expressions and emotions. It's not just from here but also from his extremist "Citizen Warrior" website and blog. I will set this evidence out if asked.

(However I don't think VKTW is going to enjoy me dissecting his claims and lies from his extremist website. He still refuses to explain why he pretended to be an Australian)
:D

Venerable Kwan Tam Woo stated:

The best reasons to not believe in ghosts are the lack of testable hypotheses about their nature and the lack of compelling evidence for their existence. Claiming that the Standard Model and the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics disprove the existence of ghosts is both problematic and unnecessary.

I know I started this thread and am pleased with the attention it has drawn. But Venerable's statement, above, really brings us back to one of the basics of skepticism.

A skeptic does not have to disprove that your theory, hypothesis, is incorrect. It is beholden upon the person putting the theory or hypothesis to prove the fact. I guess that one might say, if it isn't proven, then it isn't.

And Bobbo, just in case you read this, sorry, but I haven't disappeared, just been away for a week earning some beer money. Sorry Bobbo, I'm still here.
