Nah - the site's opening date is in 2005 and no one has contacted them yet. Unless they HAVE been contacted but are sworn to secrecy to prevent uncontrolled sea-serpent hunting. Yeah - that'll be it.

NOTE: That's uncontrolled hunting of sea-serpents as opposed to the hunting of uncontrolled sea-serpents.

Well, people may have contacted them, but I don't think anyone's willing to pay them for their videos.

They mainly now post on this site called Tigerdroppings and are whining about their sea dragon threads getting anchored and his posts getting heaps of downvotes by members because they made a sockpuppet account that was a bit too obvious since they could see right through his hoax but he was desperate to bump his tired old thread~

https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/hel ... /75120542/

https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/o-t ... 2/page-14/

Some of his threads~!

https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/o-t ... 10/page-5/

https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/o-t ... /72630148/

Here's a story from the Weekly World News that he made a brand new thread about and believed it was real -

https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/o-t ... /71754214/

They hijack a thread about politics to make it all about their imaginary fairytales~

Interesting thread on the Kiwi Farms about them:

So Bill. Do you think Paiva's evidence for living pterodactyls, by using a movie prop pterodactyl from a 1973 movie adds to his credibility? Pterodactyl.jpgFilm set.jpg
Roughly five years later, I'd just like to add that I've found that photo in an episode of a TV show called "FreakyLinks, Episode Four: Coelocanth This".

It's hard to get the timing right on these videos sometimes, so I'll post the dialogue as well in case you need to find it yourself:

"And that's when it hit me. Pelican bite, Thunderbird, Ancient Evil. I knew what this thing was. And you do too if you're a true 'Freaker. We've all seen the picture."

[Picture in question comes up on the screen]
Pteranadon from Freakylinks.gif
"All right, it's coming through."
"Derek, this is impossible."
"That's what they said about the coelacanth."
"What's that?"
"It's this fish that everybody thought was extinct but it isn't. And it's about to be blown out of the water by this."
"What, a pterodactyl?"
"A pteranodon, actually, they're much bigger."
"Hold on, Derek, this whole Civil War thing could just be a hoax."
etc.

FreakyLinks was a TV show from 2000-2001 that ran for 13 episodes. Episode Four first ran on 27 October 2000: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0247095/ep ... =tt_ep_epl

Yeah, right. Probably nothing more than a few fuzzy photographs.

I just wanted to add that there are several crazy religious websites promoting the photo (which they call the "Ptp" photo) as a genuine Civil War-era photograph. Like these:

https://www.livingpterosaur.com/blog/20 ... ment-hoax/
https://www.livepterosaurs.com/inamerica/blog/?p=1596
https://www.floodofgenesis.com/pterosaurs/?p=3496

So...yeah. That's a thing.

I'll bet that if you glued a pair of bat wings onto a platypus, you could have some fun with this guy.

I'll bet that if I glued a pair of bat wings onto a platypus, I'd already have been having fun by myself! Well, myself and a platypus. And part(s) of a bat. But not a whole bat, that would be weird.
