are you healthy enough to FLY ?

here's another idea for you geniuses to blank on .

there is a website by the same name - are you healthy enough to fly ? bottom line .com

the idea - require doctors OK on id / drivers license / passport to fly .

actually could be used to get the drivers license too .

this occurred to me because of the recent celebrity death -
old woman with a history of drug abuse , legal and street .
all the money , connections , but no one could tell her what not to do.

oh 1 in 7 medical emergencies require a diversion .

No link.

bottomline .com gets you to their masthead with no access to content. Search pulled up nothing.

So......how many flights are diverted? Airlines are in the cattlecar business. Deaths during transport are part of the biz.

they don't mind deaths: it's the emergencies that might be survivable that are nuisance.

Ethics / Health Checks for Airline Passengers
I don't know, but I am guessing that airline companies are not allowed to ask all passengers for health details because that would lead to charging passengers based on their weight. Overweight people would start paying more.

Does anyone think charging obese people more for tickets is not ethical? Don't children and babies get discounts already?

You do copy and paste. Maybe you could also copy the link(s) from the address bar of your articles/topics and paste them here? Like so: http://bottomlineinc.com/healthy-enough-fly/

Pias, that's silly. For a start, Occam's Razor goes for the simplest explanation - that you cocked up your keypresses. What possible reason could there be for the FBI (or any other agency, terrestrial or otherwise, dark side of the Moon or not) to want to prevent you from cutting and pasting?

You obviously don't know why you got a BENIGN tumor. Neither did I, but I had mine removed without any drama.

original post , I was hoping for links to a medical site backing my experience . kind of naïve still .
I actually explained what happened ; but everyone was too wrapped up in making jokes .

wire frame glasses with a defective nose pad .
punched a hole in my skin .
its possible the toxic dust in the air was a factor .
but , fact is I never got it treated / fixed - so its my fault .
I may be the only person in history -with medical insurance- to allow this to happen .
but since Google can't see everything / medical reports :-/

Dude, the original post of your other topic doesn't say what you wrote here, nothing about an injury or exposure to other materials:
psychiatry is a scam wrote:can the constant irritation of wearing glasses ( wire frame ) lead to cancer ?

I did a web search and found nothing .

but I think in rare cases it can .
viewtopic.php?f=54&t=27709&p=552019#p552019

I do not know if any of that would have contributed, but considering that certain agents can cause a change in the DNA of cells and/or make cells behave abnormally, something other than UV - or a combination of things - might have been involved.

Basal cell carcinoma being the most common form, it's not something one wants to deal with, but it also is nothing "out of the ordinary".

ETA I thought I read you mentioned "nose pad" somewhere in the thread and here is a portion of what you wrote:
...tried to tell them it was caused by wire rim glasses nose pad.

get a similar response as I get here ...
viewtopic.php?f=54&t=27709&p=552019#p552126
I didn't see anything about a damaged pair of glasses or contaminated injury in that other thread. But please correct me if I got it wrong.

From my experience, the bummer for being on a plane when a person dies, is that the dead person gets to deplane first while you sit and simmer waiting for your turn. At least that is what happened on a flight back to Tokyo.

The diversion for a sick person can be an adventure, since you get to explore an airport, and maybe a city, that wasn`t on your list. Did that one twice.

There are billions of people on this planet. Very many of them wear glasses. There is no plague of BCC. People get BCC in places where there is no regular rubbing going on. Your ability to analyze cause and effect is the subject of this thread.

just got back from doctor to get stitches out - asked him about this and he politely said the same thing - that I'm full of it .
I was amazed , but then remembered , like all intelligent normal people ; he is probably insane .
