Alabama's Roy Moore on Evolution
You really should take just a couple of minutes to watch this video somebody found of Roy Moore talking about evolution.
He really is anti-intellectualism incarnate. This is where theocracy comes from ...

That's a link to twitter.
Some people don't have twitter accounts, for whatever reason. Some people may want a minimal digital footprint. Some people may not have access to it. Still others may have been banned for making repeated insults and verbally abusive tweets at certain morons currently occupying the oval office and members of his administration. My point is, {!#%@} twitter and their sensitive little eyes.

Gee, I had no idea that Twitter stuff wasn't accessible to everybody. Sorry about that! And I can't believe I haven't been banned from there, if repeatedly insulting the mafioso-in-chief was all it took.
Thanks to Monster who posted the C-Span link.
The parts that stand out in my memory are where he said scientists have presented "no evidence" that life left the oceans and came onto land, and that these same scientists cannot explain why all the various forms of life, birds and mammals and fish, etc., came to be in the form of males and females.
I would say it was incredible, but having lived for 34 years in the American South it is not incredible to me at all. It is simply anti-intellectualism, as I said in the first post. Fundamentalist religion drives it.
I will be stunned if Roy Moore is not elected to the US Senate by the pea-brains of Alabama.

"I haven't seen or heard a single piece of evidence for evolution - and it has nothing to do with the fact that I have closed my eyes and held my hands over my ears."
I've come up with a set of rules that describe our reactions to technologies:

Ann Coulter said the same thing about evolution: not a single fact to support it.

Re: Alabama's Roy Moore on Evolution
When Coulter and Moore says ignorant things about evolution, as illustrated in this thread, I am again reminded why I am not a Republican.
I only say that for the record, for those who mistakenly assume I am a Republican and drink the alt-right koolaid.
