Things that appear in your notifications
Noticed earlier that a load of threads I have posted in are not appearing as notifications when other people reply in them ... maybe this has always happened and I just have not noticed, I assumed before that as soon as you post in a thread you get future notifications as a subscriber to that thread.
Do notifications only happen if someone quotes you? Or in replies to a thread you start?
If that is so is there a way to change the functionality so that any thread I post in gives notifications in the future? This would enrich my forum experience quite a bit, and ensure I keep up to date with threads I make a fleeting comment in. As I tend to pick my threads quite carefully, but it seems many threads that I have commented in may have kept going for a long time without me knowing as I tend to start a lot of my own rather than jump into other peoples.

Are you subscribing to the topics (under "Topic tools")? And/or click on "Notify me when a reply is posted" (that's in the "Options" when you're composing your post)?
.

Those two don't know what they're talking about.
Yell repeatedly and loudly at your computer to stop {!#%@} with you.
Threaten to show it who's boss by either holding a bucket of water over it or cut the power cord using garden shears.
Place a black cloth over the monitor.
Place an old floppy disk in a bowl on top of the keyboard and burn it.
Chant to the spirit of Michael Faraday to aid you in your time of need.
Spin three times counterclockwise and then twice clockwise.
Repeat in alternating sequences and spin patterns while changing directions only on odd numbered turns.
Forward this post to 10 people.
Now wait...

^ A notification pyramid scheme? Genius.
Thanks for the feedback. I will just make sure I subscribe to topics from now on, as everything in Control Panel - Board preferences - Edit notification options was already ticked.
