I've added an option that hides posts from users on your "Foes" list when you are viewing a topic.

Posts from users on your "Foes" list will not display if you set the option to "Yes" in the User Control Panel. You won't even see the link that allows you to show the hidden post.

ucp.php?i=ucp_prefs&mode=view

The option is at the bottom of the form.
For any forum questions or concerns please e-mail skepticforum@gmail.com or send a PM.

The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus.

Didn't this feature exist at some point in the past? I think I remember having it turned on and then having to turn it back off because I couldn't figure out what people were talking about.

This version has been fully upgraded by Baron von Frankenstein.

Seems like an excessively narcissistic function to me. Could be a trap too: once a year kick those people who use it off the forum: too close minded. Also add the top 1-2-3 people who GET on the Foes list: too irrelevant, confrontational...etc.

It's a bad option and one which will just turn me off of these sites. I've already been concerned that given we CAN segregate what one sees in one country from another now using location indicators, it both potentially AND likely assures that this can and will be used to cens

You don't have to use it. Just don't put anyone in your ignore list and don't enable the option. I have neither the time nor the inclination to put people into other people's ignore lists or to force that option upon them. Besides, I can just delete user accounts and all associated posts with a few clicks of the mouse. I am practically omnipotent. If only I could part water or predict the horse races.

I'm living proof your mouse kills lol

Gord's right~ water parts freely for you when it falls
but the horse never wins~ the owner does.

I'm sure the constant nagging from the
owner(s) & trainers to win or die has done
factor in its ability to win. They are treated
like things used for entertainment & to get money. It's not like you are going to marry
the horse. Then the horse would own you. lol

The horse wins the race, the human reaps the benefits. (Exclusive of standing to stud, that is.)

"I" do.

Gorgeous would make a fantastic AG. No more need for warrants and stuff that alert the investigatees. Her sleuths would sit around in séance rooms and remote view the bad guys.

Of course, one drawback would be the lack of physical evidence at subsequent trials, so they would have to clandestinely arrange shooting 'accidents' for all the treasonous riffraff they discovered.
