A good habit for the noobs: If your post turns the page, try to include a quote for context.

Oh, dear. I wasn't referring to you! We have a cadre of non-skeptics that post and I was attempting to find a suitable name for them. "The Fraud Squad" seemed apt. Honestly, I would say we're all odd here. :wgrin:

I'd be happy to do that. There's just one problem. How exactly does one determine whether a post will turn the page? I don't see that posts are numbered and, frankly, I'm too lazy to count them to see if mine will spill over. Wait! I know! I can't explain it, therefore it must be magic! :wgrin:

Yeah, it's tricky since the numbering disappeared with the last makeover (it's 40 posts per page). One could always do the math with the numbers of replies, and one could simply quote habitually. Sez one who doesn't do that. (But I more often than not go back and grab the post I'm responding to when I notice I'm talking to myself...)

I'll never remember to math every time I post. Too much stress.

Doesn't it show you your post after you submit?

If I notice it's a new page and I neglected taking a quote, I just quickly click back, quote, copy a relevant bit, back to my post, edit, paste, submit. Easy!

Gorgeous? Here you are spamming your religious propaganda on a skeptic forum, where you get abused by skeptics.......so you come straight back and post the same propaganda again.

You are "into" getting abused. That's why you keep coming back here

The forum has formal rules on display in the lower forum information threads. Pyrrho the moderator will answer any questions you may have. Forum courtesy, is that you should attempt to back up any claims that you make.

Generally all the skeptics here, are are nice people, however you will see that we do get attention seeking spammers on the forum, claiming aliens talk to them, or Jesus is our only route to salvation, or the holocaust never happened. and skeptics like shredding those people's claims, without mercy. That's why it is a skeptic forum.
