Does light ever really stop traveling? //// Yes when impacting a solid, ie: something it does not pass thru.......it is turned into heat, or perhaps another form of energy if "heat" is not quite correct.....then cools.......and disappears totally. Its what the entropy issue is all about.

R u seeing light refracting or
heat emissions ?
Just because the light form changes does
not mean it stops.
Entropy ~ the trophy u get for going

Absorb may be the wrong word as I
was thinking more along the lines
of the light passing through.

R u seeing light refracting or
heat emissions ? /// I said refracting and hoomans can't see heat wavelengths. I quibbled a bit at "heat" because I think when photons hit an atom they only "excite" the energy level of the electrons...forget what then do in the nucleus (pop another photon out or energize the electron shell?) but not heat. But heat is where most energy winds up

Just because the light form changes does
not mean it stops. /// In the main...yeah it does.

Entropy ~ the trophy u get for going
so far ~ keep going to get ur rewards ;-) //// Meaningless as the whole point of entropy is that it stops you from "going." ie: no movement at all.

Absorb may be the wrong word as I
was thinking more along the lines
of the light passing through. /// Yes.........words have meaning. As in your use of "may" when its either wrong or not.....requiring you to think about what you actually mean to say.

Never stopping...... If it never stops....we never see it. Its a main paradox of quantum physics.

Ooo had a dream this morning ~ I was
in a scene from Supernatural lol
Crowley had caught me & taken me to
his lair. Being so charming as he is ~
He wanted to know my dreams.
I wasn't telling him anything hehe
I can't remember what he said but I said~
God killed me. He breathed up my nose
but as soon as I felt it~ I stopped breathing.
Slowly I fell to the floor as if floating.
He thought I was out so he left.
Then I awoke.

No.
Words have meaning because the people using the words agree that the words represent the same concepts for both the sender of the message and the receiver of the message. Misunderstandings occur when that agreement isn't precise enough.

Errors can also occur when the sender of the message uses the wrong words, or if the receiver of the message misinterprets the words.

There aren't too many words used on
this forum that 2 or more people agree
to the meaning of. There is also that
fact that some people use words with
many meanings ~ intentionally to cause

All evening it's been dancing in my head~
the fight for supremacy starts in the blood.
White blood cells vs red blood cells.
Does this go further into people's minds
depending on whether or not the blood
is positive or negitive? Do they start to
see white skinned people as white blood cells
& dark skinned people as red blood cells?
Believing they need to be healed as the
immune system would do?
They say it takes 7 days for red blood cells
to mature & be released. Is this why we
should rest on the 7th day & soak in a hot
bath?

Hmm ~ what good is that?

"Good" wasn't part of the question.

Violence as a purposeful strategy or tactic may be useful in the short term, but in the long term, not so much. Violence as a response may be essential to the preservation of one's life, or it may be bad (example - shooting MLK.)

There is no statement so absurd that it has not been uttered by some philosopher. - Cicero

Yes.

Soooo.... You set out to be violent
& you respond violently?

Hmm~ I seemed to have asked the question~
"What good is that?"
Good being the main premise for finding
a justifiable reason for being violent.
I would like an example of any good
coming from violence. You know~ where
no harm comes to those involved.

Is pushing a person off the roof to get
to the sniper who is going to shoot
the president really worth it? He's only
another guy. Kill one to save ?
There are better more preventative
ways to avoid violence all together if only
the president was a man and not a pussy.
